Michael K. Federman is a member of the Advisory Board of Red Pine Capital Partners LLC and its affiliated companies. Mr. Federman is a Founder of Federman Steifman, LLP, a boutique law firm specializing in complex and sophisticated real estate, structured finance and corporate transactions. Mr. Federman has vast real estate, structured finance and capital markets experience having structured acquisitions, mergers, recapitalizations, joint ventures, debt and equity offerings for major international, national, regional and local underwriters, investment banks, private equity firms, hedge funds, asset managers, private, public and institutional real estate owners and developers.

Mr. Federman’s structured finance practice includes closing large commercial mortgage loans, the acquisition of mortgage loans and loan portfolios and workouts and restructuring of real estate financings and credit facilities. Mr. Federman advises market participants in all aspects real estate finance, including fixed and floating rate financings, collateralized debt obligations and trust preferred securities, construction and renovation financings for office buildings, residential facilities, luxury hotels, condominiums, shopping center developments and mixed-use projects, leasehold and sale-leaseback financings, preferred equity investments, permanent, bridge and mezzanine loans.
Laurence B. Lederer is a member of the Advisory Board of RPCP. Mr. Lederer is a Managing Director at Branford Castle Partners, LP, a private market investor that is focused on working with already strong companies that typically have under $100MM in sales, where he is most heavily involved in the acquisition and oversight of new investments. Prior to joining Branford Castle, Mr. Lederer founded Rubicon Associates, where he acquired and took on senior operating roles in small-cap companies. Prior to that, Mr. Lederer was a Principal at ACG Capital, where he sourced, evaluated, structured and executed private equity investments in the insurance brokerage, business services and education sectors for the Arnall family office. He also worked as an investment banking Associate at Morgan Stanley & Co. and an Associate at Castle Harlan, Inc. Mr. Lederer received a B.A. from Carleton College, where he was a Cum Laude graduate and received his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the City Parks Foundation and a former member of the Board of Trustees of Riverdale Country School.
Joseph Di Salvo is a member of the Advisory Board of Red Pine Capital Partners LLC and its affiliated companies. Mr. Di Salvo currently serves as General Counsel for VMG Partners, LLC, a private equity fund that pursues an investment strategy focused on mid-market, highly-branded consumer products in a wide variety of retail categories. In this role, Mr. Di Salvo works directly and closely with VMG’s portfolio companies, helping their founding entrepreneurs and executive management teams navigate the complex legal, regulatory, and competitive landscapes in which each company’s unique objectives must be realized in order to accelerate growth and maximize enterprise value for strategic acquisition.

Prior to joining VMG, Mr. Di Salvo worked as Vice President and General Counsel for glaceau, maker of vitaminwater and smartwater, where he played an integral role in the development and execution of the corporate, marketing, and risk management strategies responsible for creating exponential value predicated upon the company’s iconic brands. In 2007, The Coca-Cola Company purchased glaceau for $4.1 billion.

Mr. Di Salvo began his career with McCarter & English, LLP, where he was a founding member of the firm’s New York City office. Mr. Di Salvo received his J.D. from The George Washington University, with honors, and graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a dual degree in Political Science and Philosophy.
Frederick A. Wightman is a member of the Advisory Board of Red Pine Capital Partners LLC and its affiliated companies. Mr. Wightman is a Managing Partner of Frederick A. Wightman CPA PC (FAW), a certified public accounting firm, which firm is the accountant for RPCP and its affiliated companies. WWC provides accounting and auditing services, financial planning, bankruptcy and restructuring, deal analysis and due diligence services for a diverse group of national clients including real estate owners, operators and managers, real estate private equity funds, developers, and real estate investment trusts in connection with the acquisition and disposition of real property and operating businesses. Mr. Wightman has been a certified public accountant for more than 25 Years and earned a B.S. from CW Post School of Professional Accountancy.
